Hilda Reyes

Bachelor's degree in Women’s Studies, a Masters degree in Health Informatics and Management, Registered Nurse

Hilda is a Spanish-speaking Registered Nurse specializing in Community Nursing and Case Management. Hilda has worked in healthcare for over 13 years, answering the call to help improve the healthcare experience for the Hispanic community by bringing the necessary education, support and resources directly to the homes of those in need.

When the opportunity to train as a Birth Doula presented itself, Hilda identified how her advocacy work would benefit birthing women, newborns and their families. Due to Embrace's holistic approach to patient care and Hilda's matching desire to help support a positive, safe and empowering birth experience for birthing families, becoming a Home Birth/Midwife Assistant with Embrace Midwifery was not only a logical but a passionately heart guided next step.

Hilda holds a Bachelor's degree in Women’s Studies, a Masters degree in Health Informatics and Management, is a certified Reiki Practitioner, earned her Prenatal Yoga Teacher certification after completing her 200 RYT Yoga Teacher training, and was recently accepted into Frontier Nursing University's MSN Certified Nurse Midwifery program.

Maria Caudle, BS, DEM

Bachelor of Science in Reproductive Biology, Direct Entry Midwife

Maria started birthwork in 2011 while completing her B.S. degree at Northeastern University. During that time, she started her internship with a local OBGYN and attended a friend's home birth. These two vastly different experiences inspired Maria to become involved in the doula world; specifically, as a full-spectrum support person.

Maria attended Womancraft Midwifery Education program, and completed a comprehensive three-year apprenticeship at Birthmatters Midwifery, a busy and well-respected home birth practice in Eastern Massachusetts. As a home birth midwife, Maria’s vision is to bring a holistic approach to care and to meet clients where they are in their journey.
